Dating for people over 40 who are nowhere near finished

Sterling Dating is an independent concept for UK adults over 40. We believe dating should reflect the confidence, complexity and appetite of people who have already built a life—not ask them to become a quieter version of themselves.

Our current website is a prototype. It demonstrates the profile, discovery and event experience we want to build; it does not yet operate a public member network or confirmed event programme. Illustrative profiles and concept events are used to make the product direction tangible and should not be interpreted as currently available members or bookings.

The principles are already clear: people should be able to state what they want, control what they share, report behaviour that crosses a line and move towards real meetings without an endless swipe treadmill. Serious relationships and casual dating can both belong here when intentions are honest and boundaries are respected.
