STERLING / THE DETAILS
How Sterling publishes advice
Sterling publishes original guidance for UK adults over 40. Our aim is to answer a specific reader question clearly, distinguish opinion from fact and avoid turning sensitive experiences into empty search-engine copy.
Pages are produced by the Sterling Editorial Team. We do not invent authors, credentials, member stories, testimonials, research findings or product capabilities. When a subject requires medical, legal, financial or safeguarding expertise, the page should use authoritative current sources and make the limit of general information clear rather than impersonating professional advice.
Commercial pages and editorial guides have different jobs. A guide must remain useful even when the reader does not sign up. Product statements must describe the service that exists now; concepts and prototypes are labelled as such. Paid placement, affiliate relationships or sponsored contributions will be disclosed if they are introduced.
We review safety and product information when the underlying service changes and correct material when credible evidence shows it is wrong or misleading. Correction requests can be sent to hello@sterlingdating.co.uk with the page URL and supporting information.
