01 / USE IT WELL
Public and independent is the baseline
A busy staffed venue and separate travel make it easier for either person to leave. Being collected from home or relying on a stranger for the journey removes useful control.
02 / USE IT WELL
A check-in is not an alarm system
Tell somebody the venue, approximate finish and the profile name you know. Agree what they should do if you miss a check-in, but contact emergency services directly when danger is immediate.
03 / USE IT WELL
Safety does not require certainty
You can change the venue, decline another drink or end the meeting because something feels wrong. You do not need enough evidence to win an argument before protecting yourself.
